Bought a firearm online? Have it shipped to us.
Nona Guns is a licensed FFL dealer in Orlando, FL. We accept incoming transfers from other dealers, online retailers and auction sites (GunBroker and others), and handle the paperwork so pickup is quick and painless.
- $25 per firearm. That is the only fee for transfers from GunBroker, any other website or another dealer.

Extra fees apply only to the ship-out service, because we log the firearm into our bound book, verify the receiving dealer’s license, pack it and take it to USPS. If you pick up here, you pay $25 per firearm and nothing else. We do not accept firearms mailed to us by private individuals.

NFA items (suppressors, SBRs, SBSs, AOWs): we are not able to receive or transfer NFA items until our Special Occupational Tax (SOT) registration is active, which will not be before the end of November 2026. The ATF’s October 9 guidance did not change the SOT requirement for dealers. Read where things stand, including the Florida situation.
Private-party transfers and ship-outs
Both parties here in person: $25 per firearm. The seller and the buyer meet at our location by appointment, and the buyer completes Form 4473 and the background check here.
Ship-out by USPS to another FFL (parties not here in person). This is the only service with extra fees: when a private owner needs a firearm shipped to the buyer’s dealer in another city or state, we log it into our bound book, verify the receiving dealer’s license, pack it and take it to USPS.
- Handgun: $60 per firearm
- Long gun: $70 per firearm
- Each additional firearm in the same box: +$25
- Plus the actual USPS postage, with adult signature and insurance at the declared value
The service fee and postage are paid up front. The receiving dealer’s transfer fee is paid to that dealer. Call or text (407) 690-1009 to set it up.
How an FFL transfer works
- Buy your firearm from any online retailer, auction site or private seller.
- Give the seller our FFL. Email us at contact@nonaguns.com or text (407) 690-1009 and we will send a copy of our license directly to the seller. Ask them to put your name on the box.
- We receive and log the firearm in our bound book and text you the same day it arrives.
- Pick up in Lake Nona. Bring a valid Florida driver license or ID (and your concealed weapon license if you have one). You complete ATF Form 4473 and the background check here, pay the $25 transfer fee, and take your firearm home.

Nona Guns is located in Lake Nona, southeast Orlando, minutes from Orlando International Airport (MCO), Medical City, Kissimmee, St. Cloud, Narcoossee and Hunters Creek. We handle transfers for GunBroker wins, out-of-state purchases, gifts between family members, and firearms bought from other Florida dealers. How much is an FFL transfer at Nona Guns?
$25 per firearm, and that is all you pay when you pick up here, whether you bought on GunBroker, another website or from another dealer, or it is a private sale with both parties here in person. Extra fees apply only to our ship-out service (shipping a private owner’s firearm by USPS to another FFL): $60 per handgun or $70 per long gun, plus postage. NFA items (suppressors, short-barreled rifles) are quoted separately.
Is there a waiting period?
Florida law applies a mandatory waiting period to firearm purchases through a dealer unless you hold a Florida concealed weapon license or another exemption. We will tell you the exact pickup date when your firearm arrives.
What do I need to bring?
A valid government photo ID showing your current Florida address. If your ID shows an old address, bring a second government document with the current one. Concealed weapon license holders should bring their license.
Can you receive a firearm I bought on nonaguns.com?
Yes. Choose “Nona Guns – Lake Nona” as your FFL at checkout and there is no separate transfer fee; you pick up here after the background check.
